This early film by renowned fly fishing filmmaker Todd Moen tells the powerful story of Hannah Belford and her mother, who guide, own, and operate this world-class steelhead fly fishing lodge with the same grit, heart, and dedication that founded it generations ago.

Part of Todd Moen’s early filmmaking career, Steelhead Dreams Part 1 & Part 2 stands as one of the first authentic steelhead film series to document a family-run fishing lodge in the remote wilderness of British Columbia. Long before fly fishing films became highly produced, this two-part series captured the raw reality of life, work, and steelhead fishing in the backcountry…highlighting the deep connection between family, river, and livelihood.
